Stacia M. Morris, MBA, CAGS

2025 Women Innovator Honoree, Westfair Business Journal

Ms. Morris is the author of Teen Money 101, Teen Money 102 and founder and CEO of Your Life Trek. She works to be a catalyst for improving the quality of life for women and families world-wide with a focus on financial literacy, financial health and wellness, and professional leadership coaching.

She holds a post-MBA Certificate in Accounting and an MBA from Pace University, NY; and a BA from the University of the West Indies. Morris also holds certifications for, and currently works as a Financial Advisor.  She has had diverse global experiences with Fortune 500 companies and spent the majority of her corporate career at IBM. Here, her work and travels to the Latin American countries are among her most favorite experiences.

Her passions are traveling, speaking and teaching. The consistent thread running through her life has been a desire to improve lives.  She does this by encouraging ongoing education and delivering workshops in financial literacy and wellness to many organizations, multi-generational and multi-ethnic groups.

Her zeal for education, writing, teaching and travel comes from her late father Stanley M. Morris, who was a veteran educator in the Caribbean.  He encouraged everyone in his sphere to enhance their education by traveling the world. Growing up Morris saw no reason to learn about the world. Today, she is glad that her father encouraged an interest in ‘the world out there’ since her work and life have taken her to that world, which has significantly impacted her life. ‘Teen Money 101'  which educates youths on financial literacy and Teen Money 102, The Entrepreneur which follows; are dedicated to her father.

Ms. Morris has used her experiences at successfully reinventing herself to be continually relevant in the marketplace; to develop a highly impactful leadership coaching methodology, called APPEX (A Personal Professional EXperience).

She thrives on giving back to her communities; and, to recognize her parents' legacies, she founded and directs two ministries at her church. Connie’s Circle, honors her late mother and teaches the almost lost art of sewing; and The STAN Group (Strategic Teaming And Networking Group) honors her late father and coordinates support for entrepreneurs.

Other volunteer activities include: Alumni speaking engagements and webinars for her alma maters - Pace University and The University of the West Indies; Board Treasurer positions; classroom teaching; and mentoring on many levels. Morris firmly believes that teaching is a perpetual gift to others and that education directly improves one’s quality of life.

Civic honors and recognition that Morris has received are from the Connecticut Legislature for her work with youths, the Brooklyn Borough President for financial literacy education, and Pace University as a Pace Legend, being the first Pace University Alumni to speak at a Pace University Commencement.

Ms. Morris is a popular international Keynote and Featured speaker, who has made numerous appearances on TV and Radio. Her book Teen Money 101 was featured on the ABC Here and Now program.

Morris currently resides in Connecticut, USA where she continues to write, teach, speak, and travel globally to share her passions.
