Touchmasters International Football Camp
The TouchMasters are Coming!!
Touchmasters will continue its Football Educational/ Football Giveaway Program with its 16 th Camp in SVG this summer. This camp will be conducted at Arnos Vale 2, TMS will also be doing other camps.
August 12-16 th, we will be at North Union School, 9 am - 12 pm.
This is our effort to promote, teach and begin the process for an All-Island Youth League ages 10-18.
We will once again bring our International Staff to conduct a 4 week camp itinerary throughout the Island. This year we will partner with the famous Melisizwe Brothers to offer a musical workshop and performances.
Touchmasters known for our Football Giveaways since 2003, will continue to ensure that our players are learning the correct and modern skills. We will also continue to help with providing great training and Football equipment.
Our Last Camp 2016 at Arnos Vale three players were selected for the National. Let’s not even count the many players whom TouchMasters have trained previously who have represented our country.
This year campers will get either:
A ball, a soccer pants/ shirt or T-Shirt.

Physical Education Teacher, Coach, Athlete, Creator and Founder of the Volley King; Desmond Morris’ skills and experience in the field of soccer range from an athlete, physical educator, to coach and inventor.
Morris holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in physical education and Spanish from Davis and Elkins College. He has also obtained the National “A” License in coaching from the United States Soccer Federation. Morris is multi-lingual, with native fluency in Spanish and English as well as conversational skills in French. His education has enabled him to create the Touchmaster System, a technique he uses in his coaching curriculum.
The majority of his career has been spent coaching both in the United States and the Caribbean Islands, where his family originates.
Morris’ coaching success stems from a notable athletic career. As captain of team St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Morris obtained three championships, made the Lanzera All Star Team and competed in the Caribbean/American Cup Tournament.
Morris is one of three brothers who played for the National Vincentian Team of 1979. The brothers have coached, led camps and trained thousands of young men and women in soccer, or football as they like to say, over the last 30 years. He has led numerous teams to championships and mentored over 50 students to receive full scholarships to Division One schools.
During his time as an educator, Morris helped to formulate a physical education program at Stanwich School in Greenwich, CT.
While much of his time is spent coaching on the soccer field, Morris always leaves room to give back to his local community and overseas. As a Good Will Ambassador, Morris conducts coaching clinics in places like St. Vincent and the Grenadines to crowds of over 8,000 students. He also provides these children with computers, soccer gear, clothing, toys, et al.
Morris has used his unique and successful coaching style, international experience, knowledge of soccer and teaching skills to create the Volley King, a product line aimed at improving an individual’s kicking technique as well as enhance their goal scoring.

Touchmasters International Academy is excited to announce its inaugural Showcase event on July 13 and 14, 2024. This event in New Rochelle, a first of its kind in our region, aims to shine a spotlight on the rich soccer talent present in Westchester and the broader New York Metropolitan area.
Desmond Morris, a name synonymous with soccer excellence, has been shaping the future of soccer in New Rochelle for the past 17 years, so showcasing talent in this area keeps it close to his heart. Having migrated to the USA over four decades ago, Desmond has dedicated the last 22 years to nurturing soccer talents across the East Coast, particularly in utilizing his talents in about 20 football clubs within Westchester County and Connecticut. His exceptional coaching prowess earned him the nickname "The Touchmaster" from the New Rochelle Raiders. Under his guidance, the team surpassed all expectations and earned two State Cup Championships, the legacy and culture continued with two additional titles following his departure.
Beyond his impressive achievements in the US, Desmond's contributions extend to his native land, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, where he has successfully organized over 20 Soccer Giveaways. These efforts underscore his commitment to creating opportunities for aspiring soccer players from less privileged backgrounds.
The TouchMasters International Showcase represents an ambitious expansion of this vision. The event will cast a wide net, welcoming players and teams from diverse regions, including the USA, Africa, the Caribbean, South and Central America, the Middle East, and Europe. In a world beset by challenges, the Showcase promises to be a vibrant celebration of youth and talent, offering a global platform for showcasing some of the finest young soccer players.
Designed as more than just a competition, the Showcase aspires to be a festive gathering of talent, with surprises that promise to make it a memorable experience for all. Desmond Morris, through his vast experience, has guided numerous players to national acclaim and Division I NCAA scholarships.
